We do NOT sell or transfer to a third party in any way any personal information about our customers whatsoever. We are in the apparel business, not the information brokerage business.

In the event that CargoPants.com, or our parent company's assets are sold, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets. As stated in how do we store and protect your information?' section, any credit sensitive credit card data will remain encrypted via top-tier encryption software and thus, will be unusable to any outside party who may have acquired it through unauthorized means.

Also, should our parent company start-up a new apparel Site, if, and only if you selected to opt in to any Site promotions or marketing information, you may be contacted for promotional purposes.

In the event of a criminal investigation or suspected illegal activity, we may share ONLY relevant customer information with law enforcement agencies with or without requiring a court order or a subpoena, and ONLY with the expressed permission of the card holder whose information may have been compromised through identity theft or another method outside of our control.

This will ONLY be for the purpose of investigating and preventing fraudulent practices of parties who used credit card data for unauthorized purchases. This policy is intended to protect our customers from additional criminal acts and is not meant to violate their highly respected privacy.
